The antidepressant Paxil, Seroxat in the UK, has been in the news for years now. It has been linked to birth defects and suicide. It has long been claimed that the manufacturer, GlaxoSmithKline, hid evidence of the adverse effects associated with the drug in order to maintain high sales. The popular online video broadcasting site YouTube has been a great way to inform more people about the dangers of Paxil and other drugs.

I recently found a very thought provoking British film about Seroxat, Paxil in the U.S., covering a wide range of issue that have bee reported with the drug. People deserve to know what they are putting in their bodies and drug makers are obligated to inform people of the dangers of the drugs they produce. The greedy Paxil manufacturer GSK has not held up their end of the bargain and millions of patients have paid the price for this dishonesty.
