A recent report comes out of England of another apparent suicide linked to paroxetine, Paxil in the U.S. The deceased was a 30-year-old family man named Peter Mayhew. He died instantly at 5:54pm on Friday September 7th after being hit by the Manchester Piccadilly to Gatwick. His fmily was not notified of his death until Monday.

Mr Mayhew's family believe Peter took his own life, although they do not know this for certain. He had attempted suicide previously and had spent time in Tilehurst's Prospect Park hospital.

Paroxetine is known to increase suicidal ideation in some people and that is what his mum believes happened inthis case. While there is no hard eveidence that this was a suicide, the family of Mayhew have little doubt. This is another tragic stoy put into motion by the side effects from a very dangerous drug.
